I heard that you’ve got the whole town
I heard you run it
I heard you lost someone close to you
Last year in the summer
I heard that you moved downtown
I heard you love it
I heard you like the way people yell
Just for the fuck of it
And if it happened to you then it can happen
Call it what you want, confidence
I see you, no one else
Remember asking me if all meant nothing?
I stopped the car about a mile away
You were the first out running
I’ve been trying to play catch-up for a while now
When the car crashed and you never got asked
How it might have been if you just slowed down
What do you care if i go with them?
For the summer
What do you care if i go with them?
Just for the meantime
This album is single-handedly getting me through my seasonal depression. Captures the energy of the season perfectly, and with a nice hopeful message to remind myself to keep going. <33 redrevelry
this lil ep is the perfect length, the perfect blend of love, heartbreak, and all the anxiety and racing thoughts that come from it. wish this existed when i was 16, i would have played it on my ipod over and over frfr sh3lby

This is undoubtedly my single favorite album of all time. It feels like such a perfect culmination of all the themes and ideas Fleet Foxes has been working with since 2008. It answers many of the questions found on both Helplessness Blues and Crack-Up, and represents an incredible maturation and growth in Robin Pecknold's perspective. Their other albums are certainly masterpieces, but this, in my opinion, is their magnum opus. I doubt it will be recognized as such in its time. isaiah_stuart
