I open my eyes
Beautiful world
Rain from the sky
Eyes of a local man
I open my eyes
Beautiful world
Beauty at hand
Eyes of a local man
Nostalgia...
Heaven must be made of it
Sleep away the bad days of our lives
It’s alright.
Wake up on the right side of the bed
And watch the sunrise
Walk old familiar in the dark,
In the city of change
When there’s something strange in the neighbourhood
What feels right?
Nostalgia...
Heaven must be made of it
I had a heavy dream
It was such a feeling
You woke up, and we never said goodbye
This album is single-handedly getting me through my seasonal depression. Captures the energy of the season perfectly, and with a nice hopeful message to remind myself to keep going. <33 redrevelry
this lil ep is the perfect length, the perfect blend of love, heartbreak, and all the anxiety and racing thoughts that come from it. wish this existed when i was 16, i would have played it on my ipod over and over frfr sh3lby

This is undoubtedly my single favorite album of all time. It feels like such a perfect culmination of all the themes and ideas Fleet Foxes has been working with since 2008. It answers many of the questions found on both Helplessness Blues and Crack-Up, and represents an incredible maturation and growth in Robin Pecknold's perspective. Their other albums are certainly masterpieces, but this, in my opinion, is their magnum opus. I doubt it will be recognized as such in its time. isaiah_stuart
